When the Power Went Out:

Writer/Performer: Daniela Cristo

Daniela Cristo is an actor and deviser, trained at RCSSD (BA:Acting, Collaborative and Devised Theatre). Previous credits include the play I Occur Here (CASA Festival 2017-Southwark Playhouse) , A Fantastic Bohemian Opera (Grimeborn Festival 2018- Arcola Theatre), and she will be performing in Remote Access and The Turing Test, as part of in the Sci Fi Theatre Festival 2019 (Pleasance, London). She is currently developing When The Power Went Off to make it a full length play. 

 

Daniela is also co-producing Latinx Scratch, a night of six short plays written by Latin American artists based in London.

Director: Laura Wohwend

Laura is a theatre-maker who trained on the BA: Acting, Collaborative and Devised Theatre at RCSSD.  She is currently devising a play for the V&A with Wonky Table Theatre, and her previous work includes The Orphan Stain, for Blacktress Festival 2018 and  the R&D for Drink!  at The Pleasance, London. As a director, she assisted in A BRIC A BRAC at The Space, London, and is now working to develop When The Power Went Off.

 

Laura is also an experienced dancer and movement director. 

Musician/Deviser: Bryan Muñoz

Bryan is a Colombian classical musician and performer, trained at Universidad Nacional de Colombia and Teatro Varasanta. He was part of the filarmonic orchestra of Bogota for 10 years and is currently doing an MA in Performance Practice as Research at RCSSD.

Writer/Performer: Roze Elisa

Roze Elisa is a Dutch actress who graduated from East15 last year, and has worked hard at not having an accent yes please kind sir. She's been writing and making her own work since graduating, her first play premiered at The Actors Centre last September. She particularly enjoys being sarcastic. Is genuinely up for making some great theatre/films.

Writer: Amiya Nagpal

Amiya is a writer and sometimes-performer based in Dubai. Her written work has been shown in London at Battersea Arts Centre and at Rich Mix, and she’s been on stage in Dubai, Cambridge, Edinburgh, London and once, weirdly, Wakefield. She is also co-creator of Phases Web Series.

 

She likes airports, cheesecake, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and sunshine. She hates visas and talks about it, constantly. Say hi @__amiya.

Performer: Shreya Tanisha

Shreya Tanisha is a nomadic artist who was born in India and has spent most of her life living in different places. She is currently studying for an MFA in Advanced Theatre Practice (performance/direction) at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

 

Worldy Women

Ana Torre is a performer who graduated from Drama Studio London in 2015. Theatre credits include: 'Noise' at the Arcola Theare, 'Midsummer Night's Dream' at the  Southwark Playhouse, 'Serpent of the Sea'at  Richmix and 'The Castilla Sisters' at the Bread and Roses Theatre.

Cecilia Gragnani is a performer and creator who trained Drama Centre - Central Saint Martins. Since graduating she has been working in theatre, TV and voiceover over. Her first solo show Diary of an Expat was presented at Underbelly receiving praise by audience and critics at EdFringe 2018 (and is currently touring the UK.)

 

The Window Debacle

Written and read by: Siddhant Pusdekar

Siddhant Pusdekar is currently a PhD student studying ecology at the University of Minnesota, originally from Pune, India. Academia is not anxiety-inducing enough, so he writes prose as a way to explore his questions about social justice and negotiating privilege in a world that is (quickly) taking a turn for the worse.

Tech and Stage Management

Marie Dreysse has a BA in drama from the University of Washington and an MFA in Writing from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She's previously worked as a board op and stage manager back in Seattle. Currently she produces The Write Hour Podcast, a new podcast devoted to new audio drama and will be launching a second podcast later this summer.
